The Presidential Portrait Is Unveiled!

With apologies to Frank J.

Darth Tater's Final Nashville Adventure (The Lost Weekend)

Sorry for the Delay... This whole work thing really gets in the way.

So the Evening began well enough with the Dark Lord of the Tot inspecting the PBX prior to cutover.

Impressive, most impressive.
The cut went amazingly well, so Darth hops on a local kid's bike to find a party to crash.
And awaaaaaay I go!
And "The Party Spot" is found!
Lambda Lambda Lambda? Oh... Delta, Delta, Delta?
Little did the Dark Lord realize what Vodka was made from!
WHY? OH MY GOODNESS, WHY????

I Need a Laugh

D-Day struck at work. I am in Nashville wrapping up my MAJOR PROJECT (which went amazingly well) and I got word of the layoffs hitting. Lots of good people got whacked and unfortunately lots of people who needed to get whacked didn't.

Regardless, here is a video of John Stewart from the Daily Show blasting Obama. Thank you John for realizing ALL of our politicians are idiots.

I promise to post Darth Tater's weekend adventure when I get back to Dallas.

The Adventures of Darth Tater - Day Five

Day Five begins with the Dark Lord losing a seat due to the college underwater basket weaving tournament being in town.

Wait! I am the Dark Lord of the Tot! I get to cut in line! Move Over!

Never mind, the Dark One will just have coffee.

The lunch accomodations were pleasing to Darth.

Chopsticks are a challenge when you are two inches tall!

The Adventures of Darth Tater - Day Four

The Force has been strong with this one so far... but could it last?

Beware of stick men falling into holes?

Open floor tile? What?

OK, note to self, stay away from the open floor tile!

The Adventures of Darth Tater - Day Three

Day Three of Darth Tater's adventure began with such hope.

After a great night's sleep the Dark Lord began his day productively.

When lunchtime came around, he was roped into going to the mandantory "Guys from out of the country want to go to Hooters" lunch.

FOUR DOLLARS FOR A HOT DOG!!!

PUT ME DOWN I AM THE DARK LORD OF THE TOT WOMAN!!!!

Ok, perhaps it wasn't as bad as it seemed.

Nope, never mind, it was as bad as expected... Using the FORCE to fetch some Pepto.

The Adventures of Darth Tater - Day Two

Sorry for the delay, but as a minion of Darth Tater I still have a day job which interferes with blogging.

Day two began with the Dark Lord of the Tot going down to the lobby of the hotel for a hearty breakfast.

The selection pleases me.
After breakfast Darth Tater reported for work where he was working diligently throughout the day.

Next, a road trip was in order to break the monotony.

The force is strong with that car!
On the way he passed one of the sites of the 2008 presidential debate.

I could have used my dark powers for good if I had been there.
Look for Day Three photots and the mandantory Hooters visit soon.

The Adventures Of Darth Tater - Day One

I have decided to let my good luck charm Darth Tater do the talking for me for this trip so my kids can see what he sees.

We begin with Darth on the bus to the airport... Obviously, this was not a fun ride for him.

Once he arrives at the airport, he checks the condition of his plane and find it meets with his satisfaction.

After an uneventful flight, one can of Pepsi and teeny tiny pack of snack mix later he arrives in Nashville and checks into his hotel. The bed looks nice...

So does the chair...

The view leaves something to be desired, but what can you do?

More to come as the Dark Lord of the TOTs spreads his vengance on Nashville!

Glad I Am Not Interfering With The Cash Flow

Well, I'm prepping for my second phase of my MAJOR PROJECT, so I leave Monday. I have been working on the dryer and while I was waiting for THE WIFE to get ready for our trip to get a thermal fuse when I checked CNN (I am so addicted to news) and found this tidbit:

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has broached the issue of human rights with Chinese leaders, but said that the world economic and other crises are more pressing. "Human rights cannot interfere with the global economic crisis, the global climate change crisis and the security crises," Clinton said in talks with China's foreign minister.

Wow. Glad money is much more important than people after all. It's strange that we are obligated to help the suffering in America, but we don't care about the people who suffer in China. Of course 90% of the crap we buy in our stores comes from China now, so I guess I should just shut my mouth.

Oh well, off to the parts store.

Fortune Cookie Type Thought

Question:

When you search in your heart, is what you are doing with your life right, or is it what you want to be right?

It is very easy to decieve ourselves.

OK, back to potty humor, pensive moment is over.
